Lawrence Rajan MD
Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology, and Internal Medicine
"As a doctor, I am ever thankful for the great blessings I receive through caring for patients and I am privileged to help bring them comfort and healing."
Dr. Rajan has traveled and worked as a cardiologist in Asia, Europe, and the US. He graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and trained in cardiology at St. James's Hospital in Dublin, Mayo Clinic in Rochester, and Texas Heart Institute in Houston. He also developed and headed two national tertiary heart centers for Northern Malaysia. Dr. Rajan had a busy cardiology practice at a Heart and Vascular Center in Kentucky, published research focused on Takotsubo stress cardiomyopathy (broken heart syndrome), and trained doctors in an interventional cardiology fellowship program at the University Heart Institute.
Dr. Rajan is blessed with three wonderful sons, the youngest an undergraduate freshman in premedical in Western Kentucky University, the middle a computer and games app designer, and the eldest studying law in Minneapolis after graduating from William and Mary College in Virginia. He has a sparkling 89-year-old mother and three incredible sisters who are internationally recognized leading doctors in their specialized fields of medicine. And not to forget an important member of his family, a great big Bernese Mountain dog given to robust demonstrations of unconditional love and affection to all he meets! In his free time, he loves traveling, music, and literature. Dr. Rajan feels truly blessed that his life's journey has brought him to Eau Claire, and he couldn't be more thrilled and happier to be here!
