Dr. Hess is excited to care for patients at OakLeaf Clinics. He's had the privilege of caring for patients in the hospital for many years and also enjoys working with individuals in the clinic. He is a lifelong learner interested in teaching medical students and residents.
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is the focus of his practice. This is an FDA-approved treatment for major depressive disorder and for obsessive-compulsive disorder. Patients are evaluated, diagnosed, and an individualized treatment plan is developed. This includes medication management, psychotherapy referrals, and treatments with TMS. Patients are closely monitored for response and tolerability. They are supported in enhancing their recovery and improving their quality of life.
