  • Medical Office Assistant / Scribe

    OakLeaf Clinics - Eau Claire Medical Clinic is currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant/Scribe for part-time (24-30 hours) or full-time (31-40 hours).

    Duties include rooming patients, taking vital signs, completing medication reconciliation, documenting notes during a physician visit, and scheduling tests and follow-up appointments.

    The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of CMA experience, strong computer skills, and the ability to multi-task. Epic experience is a plus.  Comprehensive scribe training will be provided.   • Pediatric Registered Nurse or Licensed Practice Nurse

    OakLeaf Clinics - Pediatrics is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse or Licensed Practice Nurse to join our expanding healthcare team.

    Duties include:

    • Prepares patients for consultation/examination by completing intake, verifying patient information, recording medical history; confirming the purpose of visit, measuring vitals
    • Preparation for patient appointments, chart preparation, requesting imaging, forms, medical records, patient referrals
    • Triages patient complaints in collaboration with supervision provider to determine patient care needs. Schedules patient appointments based on a patient's medical needs
    • Performs medical procedures, such as venipuncture, IV placement, and immunizations all within the scope of nursing practice, under the supervising provider
    • Responds to patient and provider messages and calls in a professional and timely manner
    • Educates patients about treatment course through guidance from supervising provider
    • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to organization's standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
    • Maintains clinic supplies, inventory tracking, and ordering
    • Acts as a patient advocate in the coordination of medical care
    • Participate in on-call telephone triage every 4th weekend with provider back up as needed (Average of 1-4 calls per weekend. This is done from home, no on-site work required.)

    Ideal candidate brings a positive attitude, compassion, and excellence to the patient care experience. Loves to work with children of all ages. Candidate must have a high capacity for working independently and efficiently with direction from supervising provider. Must have great organizational skills, with attention to detail. Has effective verbal and written communication skills for patient care and as an ambassador of the practice. A team player that brings professionalism and ownership to the nursing position. Strives to improve the quality of patient care experience and the practice environment. Must have knowledge of and adhere to patient and practice confidentiality requirements. At least one year of professional nursing experience in a pediatric clinical setting preferred.

  • Medical Coder

    OakLeaf Clinics - Business Office is currently seeking a full-time Medical Coder to join our expanding team.

    The position includes reviewing documentation to assign diagnoses and procedure codes to professional services provided in various settings including clinic and hospital.

    The ideal candidate will have a certification in coding, at minimum CPC or RHIT, and at least two years of active coding experience in specialty coding (such as cardiology, nephrology, dermatology, or gastroenterology) as well as a strong working knowledge of E/M coding, and understanding of HCC coding and Medicare guidelines. Prior experience working in Epic is preferred. Looking for someone who is comfortable working in a flexible team environment with multiple priorities - as well as professional communication skills to present information to providers. Auditing experience is also a plus! 

    This is NOT a remote position and requires the candidate to work on-site.

  • Acute Care Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Hospitalist

    Primary responsibilities will include:

    • Work in collaboration with intensivists and specialists to assess and treat inpatient medical conditions at local hospitals.
    • Be an integral part of our healthcare team dedicated to providing our patients with compassion, trust and a lifetime of individualized care.
    • Actively participate in improving clinical outcomes through evidence-based strategies.

    A qualified candidate has:

    • Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner Wisconsin License
    • Certified as Acute, Adult, or Family Nurse Practitioner
    • Critical Care or hospital experience preferred
    • CPR and ACLS
    • Current DEA License
