OakLeaf Clinics is a physician-owned, independent medical practice located in beautiful Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Our team of healthcare clinicians consists of over 50 physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners.

OakLeaf Clinics provides inpatient services at HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital; HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital and OakLeaf Surgical Hospital. Outpatient services are provided at our Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls locations. We also provide outreach services to many communities in western Wisconsin including: Baldwin, Cumberland, Black River Falls, Rice Lake, Stanley, Neillsville, Durand and Shell Lake.

  • Valve Clinic Coordinator – Cardiology

    OakLeaf Clinics is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as the Valve Clinic Coordinator supporting our rapidly growing TAVR/Cardiovascular procedures program.

    The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, possess strong communication and computer skills (Epic experience preferred), be energetic, and thrive working within a diverse team.

    Duties include:

    • Valve Clinic Program Development (policy/procedure development, coordinates echo review)

    • Referral Management (post detection of valvular heart disease)

    • Referral Coordination of patients meeting criteria (prior to VC admission)

    • Valve Clinic Coordination

    • Scheduling initial Cardiology review, obtaining necessary diagnostics, coordinating appropriate consult arrangements as needed

    • Managing communication between Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery and referring providers

    • Scheduling therapy based on recommendations

    • Follow-Up Communication (post-therapy)

    • Database Management (echo report entry/updates and follow-up with patients in accordance with ACC/AHA guidelines)

    • Community Outreach Campaign Management (marketing, referral development, screening program, and education development)

    Requirements include:

    • Current WI RN License

    • 2+ years experience in outpatient/inpatient cardiology/cardiovascular medicine setting preferred

  • Licensed Practical Nurse - Dermatology

    OakLeaf Clinics - Dermatology is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our expanding dermatology practice. Ideal candidate will be a self-starter, enjoy multi-tasking in robust practice, possess strong computer skills (Epic experience a plus), be energetic and exemplify the ability to work with other team members. Duties include providing each patient with an exceptional experience, communicating with patients on a routine basis, rooming patients upon arrival, preparing and assisting patients for procedures, completing injections, handling biopsies, entering information into Epic and ensuring every patient understand their post-visit instructions. Must have current unrestricted LPN license in the State of Wisconsin and CPR. No experience required. Will train the ideal candidate in dermatology specialty. Hourly position working Monday through Friday. No weekends or holidays.   • Medical Assistant or Licensed Nurse

    OakLeaf Clinics - Amy Ludwikowski, MD is currently seeking a certified medical assistant or licensed nurse to join her family medicine clinic in Eau Claire.

    We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated person to join our team offering family medicine and obstetrics services in a clinical setting. Job responsibilities including rooming patients, taking vitals, handling phone triage, administering vaccines, providing phlebotomy, entering data, and assisting the physician with the day-to-day clinical practice.

    A qualified candidate is a certified medical assistant or licensed nurse. Prior clinical experience in a family medicine setting is preferred. Experience with Epic is a plus.

  • Medical Coding Specialist

    OakLeaf Clinics - Business Office is currently seeking a full-time medical coding specialist to join our expanding team.

    This position is responsible for performing high volume, accurate medical coding functions in a growing multi-specialty practice setting. Candidate must have AHIMA or AAPC coding certification. Expertise in CPT and ICD10 coding necessary.

    The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of hands-on medical coding experience in a physician/professional setting. Candidate should be knowledgeable in evaluation and management coding. Experience in Epic preferred and HCC coding a plus. Candidates should have a full understanding of insurance processes, excellent professional and interpersonal skills and be comfortable working in a flexible team environment.  This is not a remote position.

    Qualified candidates will need to pass a coding test.
