Message to Our Patients
OakLeaf Clinics and our team of healthcare professionals remain committed and diligent in the care of you, as our patients. We are working each day to provide care for you and your family during this difficult time. We know that you are anxious and worried. We are here for you.
Our clinics are open and are ensuring safety for you and our staff through vigilance of our infection control practices including handwashing, disinfecting, social distancing and recommended CDC guidelines. We ask that if you are sick with a cough, fever (temperature 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit) or shortness of breath AND have been exposed to someone with coronavirus (COVID-19) or have traveled to an area infected with coronavirus that you call us at OakLeaf Clinics before coming in for your scheduled visit.

Alternatives to an In-Person Visit at the Clinic
We are also pleased to make available telehealth (video visits) for those of you that would prefer to not come to the clinic. You can call us and schedule a telehealth visit with any of our clinicians just like a visit to the clinic. Technology will be essential in your home and is as simple as having Facetime, Zoom, Skype or any other program that would allow you to use both audio/video together.
We will also extend virtual visits to our patients. A virtual visit is a one-to-one conversation with the physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant. You may schedule a virtual visit as you would any other clinic appointment. Your healthcare provider will call you at the scheduled time to complete the visit over the telephone.
As always, you may reach out to us through your MyChart account for e-visits (electronic visits) to ask questions that do not require a direct conversation with a clinician. If you do not have a MyChart account or your account is not active, you can simply call OakLeaf Clinics and we will assist you. MyChart is also a great avenue to access your medical records on-line, request a refill of your medication or request an appointment.
Telehealth, virtual visits, and e-visits are alternatives to an in-person visit at the clinic and will be submitted to your insurance carrier. We offer these as alternatives during this challenging time and will make them available moving forward as it is not always possible for you to come to the clinic.
We look forward to seeing you back in the clinic in the very near future. Until then, be well and please reach out to us for any of your healthcare needs.
