With my personal history of Type 1 Diabetes my passion is to ensure all patients have the knowledge to self-manage and set attainable goals-diabetes isn’t going to limit your abilities, it just requires a bit more planning."

HospitalMs. Overgard began her career as a registered nurse in 2010, working with the cardiac population. Her passions led her to inpatient nursing education, where she worked as a nurse educator. While at HSHS Sacred Hospital, she led many evidence-based practice initiatives and committees, including a large focus on inpatient diabetes management. Ms. Overgard's practice will focus on caring for patients with diabetes. Carly lives in Stanley, running a Ginseng Farm with her husband and daughter. They enjoy being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family.
